Job Description:
Our client a Multinational Automotive Parts Company is looking for Accounting Officer for their Dubai office.
Job Description
- Ensure that the company’s financial procedures and guidelines are complied within all accounting areas
- Check and input transactions related to cash, bank and general ledger
- Control and analyze inventory transactions (variances, inventory adjustments, Sales, Cost of sales, Goods in transit) against System’s report
- Check Daily Purchase Analysis Report generated from system and coordinate it with Logistics and Sales Department
- Check and input Trade/Non-trade AP transactions
- Preparation of AP Ageing report
- Monthly reconciliation of AP Statement from suppliers (Overseas Group Companies and Third Party Companies)
- Cash and bank reconciliation
- Prepare Balance Sheet schedules and reconciliation
- Prepare of Audit schedules & audit related matters
- Maintain required filing system
- Otherwise carry out tasks as requested by superior
Experience / Qualification / Expertise Required
- Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant accounting role, preferably in UAE
- English language skill (business level)
- Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Working experiences at Accounting firms or Multi National Companies is an advantage
